🚀 Zapier Integration Beta in Tenziv CRM

Tenziv CRM’s Zapier integration enables seamless automation between Tenziv and a wide range of apps. By automating workflows, you can save time and improve productivity by connecting Tenziv with Gmail, Slack, Google Sheets, Mailchimp, and many more.

🔑 Terminology

Zap
A Zap is an automated workflow between Tenziv and another app. Each Zap contains a trigger (an event that starts the automation) and one or more actions (the events that complete the automation).

Trigger
A trigger is an event in Tenziv that kicks off the Zap. For example, when a new contact is created in Tenziv, it can trigger a Zap to save the contact to Google Sheets.

Action
An action is the result of the trigger. For example, once a contact is created in Tenziv (trigger), the action might be saving the contact data in Google Sheets.

Task
A task is any data point that is processed by your Zap. For example, if your Zap saves 100 contacts to Google Sheets, that counts as 100 tasks.

📩 Invitation Link

The Zapier integration is currently in “Invite Only” and “Testing” stages. To get access, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Zapier.

  2. Enter your purchase key.

  3. Click Get Integration Link.

  4. After your purchase key is verified, you’ll receive the link to accept the integration.

Once accepted, you’ll be able to create and manage Zaps like any other app within Zapier.

🔒 Authentication

To connect Zapier with Tenziv, you’ll need to authenticate your account with an API Key:

  1. In Tenziv, go to Settings → Personal Access Tokens and create a new API key (e.g., name it “Zapier”).

  2. Once the key is generated, copy the API key to a secure location.

  3. In Zapier, select Tenziv CRM and choose your desired trigger.

  4. You will be prompted to authenticate your Tenziv account by entering the API key and your Tenziv App URL.

  5. After authentication, Zapier will remember your credentials for future use.

Common triggers include:

  • Deal Stage Changed: Triggered when a deal moves to a different stage.

  • New Contact: Triggered when a new contact is created.

  • New Company: Triggered when a new company is added.

  • New Deal: Triggered when a new deal is created.

  • New Product: Triggered when a new product is added.

  • Contact Updated: Triggered when a contact is updated.

  • Company Updated: Triggered when a company is updated.

  • Deal Updated: Triggered when a deal is updated.

🔍 Perform Search in Zaps

You can search for records in Tenziv with the following actions:

  • Find Deal: Search by deal name or ID.

  • Find Contact: Search by name, email, phone number, or ID.

  • Find Company: Search by name, email, domain, phone number, or ID.

  • Find Product: Search by name, SKU, or ID.

  • Find User: Search by user name.

Note: When searching by non-ID fields, ensure that the search value is unique for best results.

⚠️ Troubleshooting

  • Server Error – 403 Forbidden: This may occur if your server’s firewall or mod_security rules block the Zapier request. Try disabling the firewall temporarily to resolve the issue.

  • Unauthorized Error: Double-check your redirect URI and API credentials to ensure they match what is configured in Zapier and Tenziv.
